Uma filhote de gata sobreviveu a um ciclo de uma hora dentro de uma máquina de lavar junto com a roupa suja.

A baby cat has survived a one hour cycle in a washing machine with dirty laundry.

Princess, uma gatinha de oito semanas que vive com a dona, Susan Gordon, na Escócia, foi levada para a emergência veterinária já à beira da morte, mas conseguiu escapar.

Princess, a eight weeks kitten living with the owner, Susan Gordon, in Scotland, was taken to the emergency veterinary already on the brink of death, but escaped.

"Coloquei a roupas na máquina, pus o sabão, fechei a porta e liguei a máquina. Depois, dei as costas e fui assistir televisão", disse Susan.

"I put the clothes in the machine, put the soap, shut the door and turned the machine on. Then I  back and went to watch television," said Susan.

Uma hora mais tarde, quando o marido abriu a porta do eletrodoméstico para recolher a roupa limpa, encontrou o animalzinho desorientado e frágil.

An hour later, when her husband opened the door of the appliance to collect the clean clothes, he found the animal disoriented and weak.

"A pobrezinha estava tremendo muito. Peguei uma toalha e a enrolei", disse Susan. "Fiquei com ela perto de mim. Ela estava tremento muito, em estado de choque."

"The poor kitten was shaking a lot. I grabbed a towel and wrapped," said Susan. "I was with her near me. She was really in shock."

Princess foi levada para o veterinário com hematomas, sangramento no nariz e olhos irritados pelo sabão. Ela ficou sob tratamento durante três dias.

Princess was taken to the vet with bruising, bleeding from the nose and eyes irritated by soap. She was under treatment for three days.

Tratada, aquecida e recuperada, a gatinha está de volta à casa e goza de boa saúde. "Agora eu sempre checo a máquina antes de colocar a roupa", disse a dona.

Treated, heated and recovered, the cat is back home and enjoys good health. "Now I always check the machine before putting the clothes on," said the lady.
